Dr. Mahendra Bista Appointed Executive Chairperson of Public Service Broadcasting Agency

Dr. Mahendra Bista has officially assumed the role of executive chairperson of the Public Service Broadcasting Agency (PSBA). Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, administered the oath of office and secrecy to Dr. Bista.
A life member of the Nepal PhD Association, Dr. Bista was previously appointed as the executive chairperson of Nepal Television. His new role follows a decision made during a cabinet meeting held on Friday.
The appointment aligns with the provisions of the Public Service Broadcasting Act, introduced by the government a few months ago to unify the operations of Nepal Television and Radio Nepal under the PSBA.
